Try tweaking the aquastat board with something non-conductive.

Aquastat keeps cutting out
We have a Honeywell L6006C aquastat on our heating coil so when the air handler comes on, it only blows warm air. The fan unit was shortcycling, so someone told me how to change the temp and differential. It seemed like it was working fine. Then, today I noticed we had no heat. The fan blower was off even though the hydroair coil was hot. As soon as I removed the cover for the aquastat, the fan came on. When I would try to put the cover back on the aquastat, the fan would shut off. What would cause that? There are no loose wires, etc. Right now, it is working fine with the cover off.0 -
Wire
You have a broken wire or bad connection. Sometimes the wire would brake under the insulation , it may look good but would cause your problem..... While the coil is hot fiddle with the wire to pinpoint broken connection.....0 -

one of the wires under the screw appeared to be secured, but on closer inspection was wiggling back and forth. Thanks Guys.0
