There are a number of things that can cause flame fluctuation. It could be in the oil supply, the pump, or even the back pressure through the heat exchanger. A blocked exchanger, undersized flue or poor draft could be the culprit. You really should refer this issue to a qualified technician, as they will have the resourses to quickly locate the problem.

flame fluctuates
I have a Becket burner and i turned it on for the first time this year. i changed the nozal and filters now. the flame goes increases and decreases regularly.I disconnected the oil intake to the ignitor ssembly to see if the pump was the cause but the oil stream was constant and looked very normal.Has anyone seen this?0 -
