cleaning one pipe steam

I used boiler cleaner. I dumped the system. Return lines the boiler etc. Changed all the lower valves so they worked.
Filled the system several times to flush.
I then added boiler steam treatment HD had it.
Ran system for a couple of days.
I cooled system. Opened rear vent added water and allowed any surface oil to escape, as per instructions.
I then redumped the system and flushed.
I then refilled and added treatment again, same stuff and I left it in. It seems to work.
I have been told if it is really bad you may have to change return lines but so far so good.
Regards.

Check out our residential steam products

    on www.rhomarwater.com

We have both a cleaner and a treatment product. They are also listed in Dan's Buy, Sell, Show section.

Hope this answers some of your questions.
