Compatibility Issue
On a recent service call I encountered a Tekmar 354 floating action control used with a Heatlink mixing valve 58130. I had no problem getting info from Tekmar (downloading a manual) but have sought in vain to find any service info for the Heatlink (their website is not very informative) My question is, is there a website or database I can access that would tell me if these two products are compatable with each other? Since manufacturers don't know whose product could be paired with their's especially when someone has thrown a replacement piece in "just to get it by for now" they probably don't feel obligated to list all the equipment that could/could not work with their equipment. It's ALWAYS fun re-engineering someone else's engineering nightmare!!0 -
Tekmar -
supplies Heatlink with their own proprietary boiler and temp controllers. It would be my thinking that the marriage of the tekmar control with the Heatlink four way valve controller would be OK. Same product - different label.0
