what type of boiler?

I need to replace my 1950's cast iron boiler. I have a hot water system with monoflow tees and sunrad radiators...roughly 80,000 btu of radiation. I am looking for something very efficient.
Can somebody explain the differences between condensing boilers, low mass boilers, and any other kind of high efficiency boiler, as well as any piping requirements I might need for them (I've been told that I'll need to pipe differently for these boilers, such as primary/secondary which I'm not very farmiliar with). What are the pros and cons to the different boilers?
Thanks,
Izzy
