radiant loop on steam boiler

We would like to add a radiant loop to a steam boiler, but aren't sure where to pull hot water off to send it to a heat exchanger. Can we pump it from the pipe connected to bottom of the site glass and then return it at the boiler return? These seem to be the only water connection points available. The zone is only a few thousand BTUH at design.
