Hi,
Just out of curiosity what is the operating range (Center of Gauge Glass to Low Water Cutoff) for the Weil McLain EG 40 steam Boiler? Also what is the typical time for this boiler to start steaming from a cold start?
Thank you,
Michael J. Cascio

the web is the answer
I am on a slow connectiion, or I would post the link for you. Go to weil-mclain.com, and under literature you will find the install manual for the EG boiler. As far as the answer to when it starts steaming that answer depends on too many factors. A few are the cleanlinessw of the boiler, and the correct inlet, and outlet gas pressure.
