Just decide if you want programmable or not. All mercury free & EnergyStar approved.

1. Honeywell T87 or similar.
2. Steam meeting water in piping. Why? Too many possible causes to list here.
3. Probably.

I agree with John and on #3 maybe.. Are they 2 pipes rads???also they may be steam tight but not water tight..And the noise Hammering in pipes is water meeting the Steam and as stated several other possibilites.. Look into Dans Steam books Great info..Rich0
