While on vacation in brazil i came across this set no tempering valve,no pumps just gravity off a wood burning kitchen stove once it's going there's plenty of hot water.Thought it was inventive the gentleman who made this retro fit is still making them the occupunts said they where commom in this area saw some inventive solar all with open storage

The coil in the stove was called a "water-back" and the tank was called a "range boiler". Was very popular in rural areas.
