Just A Thought

In 1900 at the begining of the 20th century most homes in America were heated by coal or wood, rural farms had windmills to provide power for wells and other things, electricity was limited to certain cities and not very reliable. In 2005 at the beginning of the 21st century people are looking for ways to heat their homes with coal, wood, corn, etc., windmills are being installed to provide power, and electricity is not all that reliable anymore. Does anyone see any irony in all this?
