monoflow tees

Diverter tees are needed on single pipe systems to force water to divert into the radiatior branch. On a 2 pipe system the water must flow through the radiator to get to the return so you don't need diverter tees.

diverter tees
i'm installing a 2 pipe system with baseboards, (1 pipe for feed 1 pipe for return). i've seen that diverter tees are commonly installed on the return side of the baseboard. By having a diverter tee going to my supply to the baseboard and a diverter tee coming off the baseboard (2 diverter tees per baseboard) (all above the main) is this advisable or shall i remove 1 diverter tee???0 -
sorry!!
my mistake, i have a 1 pipe system, i have 2 mono flow tees to and from each baseboards. they're not yet sweated in should i remove the supply monoflow and have only the return monoflow tee to ease restriction or is it more efficient to have 2 monoflows per baseboard???0 -
Above the main...
It's above the main, you should have just one on the return.0 -
