Steam boiler leak - need new one - help?

the old boiler had a plate with the load on it, and he did measure all the radiators. Said that 1200 was still pretty accurate, a little conservative but that some slight oversizing is a safeguard for an old house that's not guaranteed to be totally sealed.
thanks for the response - any other advice?

Steam boiler leak - need new one - help?

We've got a leak in our steam boiler and understand it needs to be replaced. Our contractor says a commercial Burnham will cost the same as a residential for our sizing (1200 sq. ft. of radiation) -- can this be right? Should we go for the commercial in that case? Also, what all should we make sure he includes in the quote to ensure we don't get additional costs after the fact (we've seen here that we should include 4 hours of labor for skimming, for example). Anything else? We've asked him to include a Hartford loop, threaded steel, replacing the main valve, and a vapor stat.

    Any advice is appreciated,
