We really mean it. If the operator is installed in the verticle postion the heat gets trapped inside and shuts off prematurely causing the room to under heat.

If you need to install an operator in the verticle positon get Danfoss Code #: 013G8252 - Valve mounted operator w/ remote sensor, or the wall mount versions: 013G8562.

    Danfoss. . .

    I noticed that the product literature in my brand new Danfoss valve is very specific in stating that the regulator must not be put in the vertical position. . . but when they say MUST, do they really mean it? Will there be successful operation otherwise?
