Heat Link Thermostat Emitting Heat

Had a Vitodens 200, 6-24c installed last spring at end of heating season. Turned the heat on in Mid Oct. Everything seemed to work OK. Last week noticed the house was cooling down, touched the Heatlink thermostat # 46131. It was warm/hot. Borrowed a Infrared Thermometer. The wall temp was 67, the exterior of the Thermostat was 75 and slid the thermometer off and the thermometer circuit board was 90. My installer is coming back on Fri. I was wondering if this is a common problem with these HeatLink Thermometers. I figure the house is cooling down because the thermometer is getting a false reading from the heat coming from it.
