Blow Out Oil Line

Hi. I posted "hunting" symptoms of my Beckett burner recently and was told I had a stuck or perferated feed line. I blew-out the feed line from the burner to tank w/ 30lbs. psi for about 1 min. Seems to have done the trick, she's burning beautiful. Thank you all.
I did let the tank (1000gal./old)go lower than usual this year before my fill-up, but it never ran out. This is the same time the problem started. Could this have caused sludge to be drawn into the line? Should I use sludge treatment? Back-pump the sludge before my next fill? Should I blow it out again to make sure I got all the crud out? Also, using the bleeder into a glass, I have small foamlike bubbles in the fuel. Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any advise.
