For those lucky enough to need to keep track of part numbers my shop guy tells me the AO smith / State water heater merger has the AO smith parts coming with state numbering systems. So, if the parts are on a computer inventory you now have the same parts with different numbers. And, to make life really fun the old parts book numbers called in from the field may need to be converted. Keeps us on our toes.
