If you put a few more of thoes things together, it would make a nice lamp base for the bathroom:)

Hydronic supply and return piping to headers

I am needing help with a multiple 3/4" copper pipe run for supply and return headers. The run consists of 4 zone runs with supply and return. I need to support the top four pipe close to the bottom of ceiling joists and then trapeze the bottom four pipe. I am considering 7/8" uni-strut with BVT 087 B-Line clamps. The top Uni-Strut would be attached to the bottom chord of the TJI joists. The lower run of pipe would be suspended from the top uni-strut with rod to the lower inverted uni-strut with the same configuration of BVT clamps. Is there a better or more economical method to provide a clean installation? The entire assembly would be enclosed by a removable, insullated soffit. Please respond to M.E. Do they

need to run at different elevations? Could you mount all the runs to the same unistrut at the TJI location?

Another method I like involves these plastic Sioux Chief hangers. Nail them to the TJI cords at the various elevations and snap the tube, or insulated tube into them. They allow expansion movement better than unistrut also, and do not transmit noise to the framing.

Inexpensive, quick and plenty stout. I have actually stood on these before! I use them to hang all sorts of things in my shop.

I'm not sure they would handle bare copper at 180° however. Check with the manufacture.
