tN4 marriage to the gb 142

Is the Tekmar tN4 420 compatable w/ the Buderus gb 142 without the EM-10 modules. The application is for RFH. 5 zones all the same temp.
Will it cause problems with boiler or will it work?
I wanted to use the indoor and outdoor reset capabilities of the tekmar instead of just the indoor that the buderus provides. We are close to firing the boiler but when I did the oringinal design this spring the Tekmar rep. said the modules would be available late this fall, but now they don't know when. Has anybody had experiance with this yet.
Thanks in advance

Good choice, kip!
The Buderus GB 142 and the tekmar tN4 product line can be married together.
I know of at least one job in the NY area that has a tN4 system guide the GB142 successfully and harmonized.
Buderus has an interface card (EM-10) that can be used.
In the early stages of next year, so I am told, this interface card will allow the tN4 or any Modulating Boiler Control System to directly take over the modulation of the boiler.
For now, the interface card available from Buderus, if I am not mistaken (and this is what is done on the job I mentioned in NY area), can receive a 0-10Vdc "Energy Management System" Signal that changes the target temperature within the Buderus GB142. The GB then modulates with internal control to new temperature requirement coming from the tN4 Reset Module.
Look at the 420 Reset Module you have and focus on the "Off / tekmar Stager" DIP located on the far left hand side of the module. Then read through the D420 (Data Brochure) and refer to section D on Page 17 of 24 - tekmar Stager Operation. This will give you a little more detail on that feature.
I would also suggest you call the fine people at Buderus to have this confirmed. If you talk to either Joe Kennard or Dave Connor at Buderus at 603-552-1100, you will be in good hands.
If you have further questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me or any other Customer Service personnel at tekmar at 250-545-7749 (I am ext. 214).

Thank you
Thanks Mike,
I thought it was the AM-4 module but that is for the WM ultra. I will look at the referances you mentioned.

Kip, I don't know for sure whether or not it could be the same..
....device. Check with the Pros at Buderus and they can tell you for sure.
