Had people asked me what I rather do, plumbing or hot water heating job, told them heating right off the bat... More challeging and righted the improper installed system give me satitfaction of giving the people comfort.... While in plumbing, too easy for me after all "everybody" are doing it...

    I miss hydronics

    I just spent the last week roughing-in plumbing for some bath remodels . I don't want to do plumbing anymore, hydronics has spoiled me.

    On one job I was laying down on my back in a dirt floor crawl space with 12"- 18" of space.. PVC glue and primer running down my arm, dirt in the eyes, somethin looking at me in the corner, hissing.
    First time I ever felt claustrophobic.
    The other, another crawl space , but at least I could hunch over, I think I got every single cob web on me.
    Now, I'm slight built, so I could go places most won't. But next time I think I'll pass.
    I was able to use my press tool though. I was not about to start soldering.

    Yesterday we spent replumbing a MH in Aquapex for my S-I-L.
    Not bad, but not for me everyday.

    Years ago I lost 2 or 3 jobs that my quote was best because I got hung up on emergency sewer cleaning and didn't get the paperwork in on time. Had a backache to boot. Sold the equipment to some new guys for cheap. Once in a while I regret it, then I wake up and realize I was right :)
