I am deeply saddened at the passing of yet another symbolic icon of a Golden Era in American History. Forget
Holly-wierd...today's kids' shows are polluted with sexual innuendo and agendas of all sorts. I long for the cleaner days. Clarabell was a WW II Vet as well. God Bless You Sir. Mad Dog

I hate to admit it, but I also remember the last original Howdy Doody when it was cancelled. The only time Clarabell spoke! He did say "Good bye kids." Another era passes. Good bye Clarabell!
