burning bio or vegi oil

hello has anyone tried burning bio dieseal in their burner i have made small batches and i can get access to lots of vgi oil and make much more. im just worried about dumping it into my oil tank i would like to use a 50gal drum to try it with for a few months maybe mix it 50/50 with #2 oil

but i would have to try and find a bio pump for riello.

also i have heard people burn straight up filtered vegi oil
they had to put a preheater on the burner. I'm interested in doing this with my buderus system but am worried about over or underfiring the boiler.

my best bet is to make bio and mix it b50 or b100
and have my burner checked and setup again before running it full time. the price of oil is getting hi and i can make my own bio for around .75 a gallon

if anyone here has any advice for me I'm listening
