Why switch if you are used to WIRSBO???It's great stuff and some of the best stuff in the business...not ot mention the support behind the product. Do your customer justice and offer the highest efficiency equipment available. Explain the value in using only the best...the cost of fuel alone should sell the product. It doesn't matter what you use, there's tons of stuff out there. I have NO experience with the products mentioned, but have used Buderus, Weil Ultra and others with great success.

comparing boilers/campare radiant tube
I've been asked for a bid on radiant basement floor, HWBB on main floor. This is on new construction modular home.
One of my supply houses priced a package including Peerless Pinnacle PI 80 and Kitec radiant. Anyone care to offer comments/experience with this equipment. Maybe ideas how this would compare to Munchkin unit. I have no experience with either of those boilers and only wirsbo installed a couple times.
Thanks, Ron0 -
Good Points...
If you have had nothing but good experiences with Uponor or whatever they're called these days, why take a plunge with a different product unless there is a really good reason? After all, I doubt that the price of the tubing will make a significant difference in the cost of the install. I'd explain to the customer that there is a learning curve with each product, but that you'd be happy to use Kitec if they insist on it in writing.
This is the Pinnacle that is functionally similar to the T80 but private-labeled for Pinnacle, right? My thought on the unit is that the Vision control makes a difference and that IIRC the Vision control is not included in the Peerless product. If you're familiar with a Munchkin, you ought to be able to install these units no problem, but a part of the savings is in the secret sauce that the software provides. IIRC, some of the Tekmar controllers out there can substitute to a degree for the Vision stuff... where you come out in terms of final equipment price once you add all the fixings like OR sensors, controllers, etc. then is a good question, no?0
