starting a new career??
Would just like to share that I was priviledged to teach a class today for the NORA Gold Advanced Hydronics. It was my first teaching experience in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a fine group of techs with mixed experience levels, and the day just flew by. I was worried about having too much time with a 7 hour course and exam, but ended up running out of time. What a feeling being able to share some 45 years of trade experience with these "younger" techs, some of who are just starting out in their careers. I"m excited for them and all the wonders of advancing technology that they will experience in their future in the trade.
It was a lot of work getting ready to teach the course, but if you "older guys" out there even get the chance, don't pass it up. The looks on their faces when they "get it" and learn something new is worth all the effort.

I hold teachers
in the highest regard. A great one, like yourself is priceless. Nothing improves our industry more than a well educated work force. Instructors on the job experiences makes it all the more believable, and interesting, for the students.
Glad you had a good experience. Keep it up

Way to go Al
I know what you mean. I teach a night class in hydronics every Fall at the local community college, and I know what you mean. This is a predominantly scorched air location and the students are always surprised at what is going on in the modern hydronics world. Keep up the good work. WW
