Guilty - I replaced steam

for a host of reasons. I have soe of the nice CI rads that i want to use in the garage with the new hot water boiler. I did a heat loss and since we only want to make sure the garage does not freeze, it will work. My question is is it better to use the old CI steam radiator in the garage or chuck it and go buy some slant fin baseboard. I'd rather use the CI, smaller footprint, indestructible. I assume you run input into where the steam use to enter and open up the other side for the return? Do i need to use the top tappings to get better circulation of water(not sure i see how the top will get hot if the hot water runs right across the bottom of the rad..........
thanks!
thanks!

You can use what ever you like. You may need to tone the radiation down if its too big.
You can use the bottom taps if you use diverter tees ...
