Just curious, whats the radiation? 80 year old cast iron? Whats the design supply water temp?

This one was a 6 sec. mills by HB Smith it was 408,000 fireing rate was 5.50 burner was fired at 3.00 had 6" of red crust build up, the boiler was two times to big , i did the load and we put in a 6 section G-215-6 with logamatic control, the school is happy:) the last one i did for them they had a 400 gallon a month avg. savings during the winter.
Rich Ferris did the boiler with me and as always did a great job!!
look forward to the next one for the Academy, great folks down there to deal with !....David

Nice talking to you the other day ! the building has 6 apt's in it, we reduced the water volume by at least 60%, by romoving all the old piping and installing new base board and each apt has its own zone ...David
