Any good oil-based enamel will do....

provided it is on a good substrate and is allowed to cure before firing up the radiators.

Personally I use Wijzonol, made in Holland but marketed in the US under the "Fine Paints of Europe" brand. I use their "Dutchlac" high gloss enamel on radiators, trim, shelving...

    http://www.finepaintsofeurope.com

It is not cheap but worth it. Runs about $90 for 2.5 Liters but comes in 0.75 Liter units also. They can match about any color you can think of.

    Fantastic gloss and durability.

Dutch paint for 400 year old radiator

I did not know that was the secret trick to painting like Rembrandt van Rijn, the Dutch are celebrating his 400th year, there is a special website and I had to check if Brad's radiators might be there too, yup, yup, check it out yourself at:

    http://www.holland.com/rembrandt400/consumer/gb/

Well, you only get to see the radiators if you go yourself to the museums in Holland, they put security guards in front of them, and they sell you tickets for that. But the radiators are there and ohh, they're hot.

The Night Watch? What? Did I miss something?

lies in the unparalleled talents of Mike Thies in Swampeast, MO. Astounding art. Talk about hot! Yet VERY low temperature :)
