Seen just a few of those over the years...Always someone does something stupid....I would hate to be the last guy there..Immagine all the second guessing even if he was not responsable....

I cringe at the sound of fire engines after leaving a job...Comes with the job ...

    Boiler Explosion Prompts NJ Hospital Evacuation
    (CBS/AP) Passaic City A boiler room explosion knocked out water and air conditioning at St. Mary's Hospital early Saturday, leading to an evacuation of patients, police said.

    The explosion took place at about 2:30 a.m., shattering many windows in the hospital, according to Passaic City police.

    The Passaic County Sheriff's Department says there were no injuries in the explosion.

    But with no water and air conditioning, officials decided to evacuate the roughly 80 patients inside, with 57 ambulances from Passaic City and neighboring communities helping to move them to other medical facilities.

    The patients mostly went to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, with some going to hospitals in Newark.

    Saint Mary's Hospital officials say the last patient was evacuated from the hospital by about noon.

    But no word yet on when the hospital might reopen from a boiler room explosion, which took place at about 2:30 a.m.

    Police tell CBS 2 News the two boilers exploded with such force, they smashed through the hospital wall. Bricks went flying, causing serious structural damage to the building.

    The evacuation was taking place as hot weather was settling into New Jersey. The National Weather Service predicted a high of 85 for Passaic City on Saturday; that temperature was expected to reach 100 by Monday.

    St. Mary's is a 200-bed acute care hospital.

    3 boiler explosions in the last month, this one- 1in Illinios at a man. plant and 1 in PA at a prison.
