The 6th Joseph K. Seidner Award Recipient Announced at CIPH's Annual Business Conference
STORY
On June 20, 2006 at the Chairman's Annual Banquet during CIPH's 74th Annual Business Conference in Banff, AB; Immediate Past Chairman and founder of the Joseph K. Seidner Award, Mike Dennis (Moen) was privileged to present the 6th award to Mr. Carey LaRose of Alberta Municipal Affairs.
Carey is a current member and a past Chairman of the Canadian Advisory Council of Plumbing. In his spare time (when he is not doing inspections), he serves on 10 CSA technical committees ranging from propane, gas, and plumbing installations and he has been with Alberta Municipal Affairs for the past 28 years.
"I am deeply honoured to receive this award bearing the name of a good friend Joe Seidner. I was privileged to have served with him on various technical committee and am deeply touched to have my name added to this prestigious award," stated Carey.
Approved by the Board in 2000, this award is in honour of its first recipient, the late Joe Seidner of Brady & Seidner. This unique award acknowledges the outstanding commitment of plumbing industry volunteers who dedicate their time, knowledge and expertise in developing safer plumbing codes and standards through various CSA International Standard writing committees and the Canadian Advisory Council of Plumbing.
He joins the ranks of these fine individuals:
2001 - Joseph K. Seidner (Brady & Seidner)
2002 - Arnold Knapp (Canadian Copper & Brass Association)
2003 - Benoit Lagueux (R
