GB on the shore of Lake George

Checked with Diane, who handles the training here at Buderus, and the GB Training on the 7th is an open training class. The training class that N&S Supply is attending is on the 17th. Please contact N&S Supply regarding that training class. Thanks,

    Another GB142 install

The customer really likes the looks of his new system. His next door neighbor who is 82 comes over everyday to check out the work and told me " you ought to be G*******m proud of yourselves for doing work like that, it is a pleasure to look at it"). We are trying out the Taco I-Radiant valve due to a tip from Mr. Milne. It should be the cats behind for temp control (slab). I was going to say I did not have much room to work with, but then I think of where Ron jr has to fit boilers into and did not feel cramped anymore. I have gotten myself into quite the GB routine now. I do have a G115 install coming up to get out of the wall hung rut. What a dilemma, right?

    Nice...

Nice work, Darin. How many GB's do you have installed, now? I have a couple of the i-radiant valves installed with good results. Is that snow on the ground? It has been in the 50's and 60's here (DC) for almost a week. Hopin' for some colder weather. -DF

you'll like the i-series, it looks like you have it for setpoint instead of od reset?

    Thanks Dan

Yeah still some snow here, but is melting away. It has been in the high thirties here. The house is still cold to work in since the concrete slab is still very cold. Me and Mark were just trying to tally up all of our GB's. About 10 or 12 I think. He has some more sold to go in. I am interested in seeing how the I-Radiant performs. trying to keep electrical consumption down as well as the gas bill. The I-Radiant valve draws very little in power.

    Good catch Singh

and in the amount of valuable work time he used up taking these pictures, he could have fixed that AND finished the staple-up!!!

Seriously, the system isn't ready to fire and Darin just finished up the wiring today. No fuel at the location yet as well as no doors. There are two zones of staple-up that need to be put up as well.

You going to Buderus in February??

    Thanks Bud

The I-Radiant will be on outdoor reset(I didn't run the OD wire yet). I will be happy when the boiler itself will run off of outdoor reset. Soon I hope! I find very few applications to use the RC10 in. American heating is not very conducive to that type of control. Since most of Europe is panel rad or radiant ( one main zone) you can see how the RC 10 would work well there.

    Thanks again, Darin

    Dobber

Yes I did turn the pump cartridge to make the wiring easier. And yes I did pop the grundfos tag off and put it back right side up.

    Thanks, Darin
