vaillant combi boiler - no central heating

Hi,

I've got a vaillant combi boiler that's giving us hot water, but isn't firing up for the central heating - I've bled the radiators - put the pressure back up, but it's still not firing up.

There's no thermostat in the house, just the control on the boiler. There is a box to set the times etc. and i've tried firing it up on continuous and timer, but still no joy.

Any ideas on what the problem might be? Hope someone can help.

    Sounds like....

    The circulator for the heating has stopped. If it's dead, time for someone to come in and replace it. If it is running, and there isn't any flow, the impeller may be worn to the point that it can no longer move any water. Good luck. Chris

    when i run the hot water tap and then stop it, the excess gets pushed through the central heating system - the pump is working fine (it's still turning)
