They have a control that does what you're trying to do. Just look for them in the Virtual trade Show listing at this site.

I want to install an EFM 520 coal boiler with my Crown freeport oil boiler. I'm looking for info on piping arangments and controls. I would like the coal boiler to be the primary and have the oil kick on only if the coal goes down for some reason. I would like to use all the existing zone and circulator piping that is all ready installed at the crown and treat it as a big zone supplied by the coal boiler. I searched the arcives and found some posts from people that did this (posts were a few years old)and am hoping they are still posting here. I have a general idea of how to go about this but want to fine tune the plan so I can waste less time and money. I will gladly post more specifics if needed.
Thanks
