main vents..
When burner starts up does this vent constantly blow air out of it until steam hits it??
I hear and feel it blow a few puffs when burner first cuts on, but after that I dont hear/feel anything?
I can feel the steam main getting hot, and the pipe going to the main vent gets hot too but it seems to slow at that point and the risers will get hot before the gorton does...
almost sure the upstairs rads vents close before the main vent does
When the gorton finally gets hot -i hear it tingling a bit
is this normal operation

vent
Sounds like too much venting upstairs ,turn them down . Adjust to size of radiator.Everything travels the least resistant route first...The main should fully charge first , then the radiators...Once steam enters the vent it will shut .0 -
I will try that
thank you!0
