Our company went to FR in jan. '05. It took quite a bit of work to get the techs trained properly on how to use it correctly, but we have never looked back and never will.
We use the NSPG (National Standards Price guide) book. Contact Mike Conroy @ 201-767-5520 or visit www.nspgweb.com. It has about all you could need for steam and hot water heating repairs and replacement task. just remember you will have to train the people using the book to charge the right price for the job.

Good Luck!

Flat Rate system for Wet Heat??

We are a small shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota that specializes in steam and hot water heating systems, less than 10% of our work is on furnances and plumbing. We are looking into converting to a flat rate system and was wonder what your thoughts were on the advantages/disadvantages and what flat rate system you would recommend. Your opinion will be taken very seriously, I appreciate your time.

    Thanks, Josh Savage

    I would

look into this: Al Levi's Power! Packs. It covers flat rate, and SO much more.
    Retired and loving it.

    FRP...

    Josh,

After work today grab a beverage of your choice and
    go to the search function.

Enter flat rate pricing, display max. 200.

I believe you'll find plenty to read.

HTH, Have a good and safe day,

    Regards
