Joel, This Barrett-Jackson stuff is insane! It drove the price of 60's -70's muscle cars out of site and out of the reach of the common working man. No wonder our Kids are going to drive rice rockets and fart-can muffler cars.

I always wanted a big block 1970 Chevelle SS but now they cost more than I paid for my house. I had to settle for a $500 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. At least it is GM and rear wheel drive.

COPO Camaro's and Big block Corvette's forget it , I could sell my house and everything I owned and still not afford it . And to think these cars sold for $2800 to $4000 new. and in the late '70s early '80s they couldn't give'em away because of the price of gas and insurance.

    The American way.

The man/woman with the money gets all the prizes. The rich people buy these cars and park them in the garage, all they are is an investment, just like stock market. My dream car is 66 Shelby GT350H. $50,000 won't even get close to
buying one, but they are out there.

    nestegg

Speaking of Barrett-Jackson, today in a customer's garage I saw a '70 GTO Judge, 44,000 mi., original owner. Nice little retirement nestegg! I'm always amazed at all the sweet cars that are in customers garages.
