All 3 customers have a primary domicile out of state and all 3 do not communicate by phone or Email; letters only.

I suspect that these are all people who desire extreme privacy. Only a guess.

    What's up?

Something is going on lately that has me stumped.

In the past month I have gotten letters from 3 different potential customers to whom I had delivered heating system Proposals last summer. This is the first I have heard from any of them since that time, and they will all get updated and repriced Proposals soon.

I have never experienced this before and am looking for an explanation here. Does this happen often to anybody else? Thanks.

    perhaps

They took all this time to get multiple estimates, get the necessary funds together to go forward, finally realized fuel prices can only go up and now makes most sense to upgrade system. Depending on quoted price , and other logistics, I get alot of back and forth 3-6 months after an estimate or revissions to original estimate.
I too wish to change that, but many factors out of my control.

My question, why letters and not a phone call?

    sure

Happens all the time i quote alot of A/C and many times people are blown away by the price. many come back a year or two later and then we do it for them . They are typically dismayed that they can't have it at last years price .

    That's nothing

I've had people call 7 YEARS later ! I'd just thrown out the specs the year before :)

Sometimes life just happens to get in the way.

    Reminds me

of some of the Old-House Journal articles I've written. I'll get mail on those 10 or 15 years later. People save stuff, especially when it makes them think.

    That's good.
    Retired and loving it.
