named Taco the Manufacturer of the Year at this year's convention. Johnny White gave a beautiful talk about people when he stepped up to accept the award. Thanks, Johnny, for all that you do.
    Retired and loving it.

    I'll second that emotion!

JHW is, without any doubt, one of this industry's greatest and most genuine people. I had the priveledge to visit with Johnny at the Taco facility a few weeks ago. Our tour through the plant was quite revealing about how he treats his employees. They were delighted to see him and share quick tidbits about family or other issues and Johnny, in turn, knew everyone by name and their personal history. That, by itself, is unique where employers are concerned, yet it doesn't stop there. Taco has dedicated space, money and time to offer continuing education classes taught by local professors so that their employees can improve their lives - a truly remarkable effort and one that comes straight from the top. No wonder their turnover is less than 1%. The award given is well deserved.

    Congratulations Johnny!

pretty good here in little old Rhode Island. I for one having been involved with Taco here in RI for over 40 years have always found them to be a fine company. John certainly has carried on the tradition set by his father. In fact he has grown the tradition to an even larger extent.

When I meet Taco employees in my everyday travels here in RI they always have good things to say about their company and the owner.

Congratulations John from Gas Appliance Service Training and Consulting and the Gas Training Institute.
