heat exchanger

Have a primary secondary system. I was wondering the best way to install a heat exchanger on my system. The heat exchanger is for a snow melt. My piping size is 1 1/4" copper and have circulators for all zones. Zones are 3/4" in size as well as the piping to the snow melt. I have not purchased the exchanger yet but have a bypass in the primary loop set up with a balancing valve, as this was where i was going to place the exchanger. Any info would be of great help thanks. Joe

    Joe,

I am working on a similar "Budget" job with 2-zones of radiant floor heat and 1 zone of snowmelt. What kind of boiler are you using and is it sized for the job? What Category snowmelt are you trying to achieve. What controls are you currently using?

    Regards,
