re pipe
I think i would pipe the boilers off 1 set of tees instead of 2 and use a reverse return on them .The way you have it set up each boiler will see a defferent retrun temp and in all likelyhood one boiler will run longer instead of the boilers seeing the same return temp .Maybe re read pumping away then re read primary secondary what type of appliacation are you propasing .peace and good luck clammyR.A. Answer and question
Commercial systems I have seen, and done controls progamming for, have isolation valves on the boilers and chillers. However, these were not using closely spaced T's.
Does the use of T's preclude isolation valves?0 -
Thanks for the input. Their will be isolation valves just didn't include in drawing yet.0 -
Pumps
Aren't the pumps on the boilers supposed to be on the returns?0 -
this is the engineer's proposal0 -
What is the imposed load/ chiller spec/ boiler spec/ etc? With HVAC Solution software, you can input this data to come up with all your flow rates, temperatures, pipe sizes, pressure drops, etc. I use the software quite often. The engineer.doc file would not open, so I'm not sure what the spec calls out.
Have you looked at the Taco Loadmatch system options with the software? Great for primary secondary systems.
You can e-mail me off the post if you want to talk more about this.
