if I remember I will try, checked my mask, snorkel and fins last night and my umbrella, they may be under water by then.

    could someone going to hartford please tell the wiel-mclain people that the piping diagram for thier gas steam boilers are lousy and the should look at the piping diagrams for thier oil boilers and compare them i cant get there i need to finish a boiler tomorrow then work with a plumber on wedsday thank you

    Ed my deepest apologies for the other post .I have seen your posted work and you rock when i read the post i did not realize you where the installer my apologies again .What i found works well is to use the pipe velocity equation in the lost art which works excellent and will give you the existing velocity of steam from your header and you can just change the equation for different pipe sizes.I have used it on some peerless steamers and got the velocity down to about 12.7fps and boy did that system really shine old layers of latex paint fell off the rads like paint remover super dry and super hot .It also seems that when you use this equation to fiqure out your exiting velocities your pie size will usually be 1 size larger then manafacture suggestion but it really shuts down on surging and really produces some super dry steam .Peace and good luck clammy
