the horizontal tanks will support the boilers. The Vitodens wall hung boiler does not stack...Usually I use the vertical tank, unless small footprint is required. Since the Vitodens is the boiler used most often these days, it's rare to put the horizontal tanks to use. The horizontal tanks also have slightly higher recovery rates.
