gorton or hoffman radiator vents

Im trying to figure out if it would be best to use all gorton or all hoffmans.

Right now I have a gorton #2 on my main and the rest of the radiators have a mix of cheap brand vents.

I like the idea of the Hoffman 1A adjustables so I can fine tune each radiator without swapping vents

But I already have a good gorton main vent.. But the gorton guide specifies different vents for different rooms based on location from boiler. I tend to feel that keeping all the vents in the same "family" is a good idea too.

Pro's, what would you recommend?? Im one pipe steam

I like the Hoffmans for radiators. Adjust to the size of the radiator first, then fine tune if need be.Less is better for radiator vents. Start with the low number for the smallest radiator. With a proper sized main vent location is not a concern . All the radiators should should heat up at the same time...Key note (if you hear the venting .....you need more of it)
