4\" steam main
I looked at job today fopr a rooftop unit. They also would like a steam pipe relocated. I thought steam pipes had to pitch upward toward the radiator. This main has branches that drop down to the radiators and then have a tee at the rad for condensate return. Would I be able drop down under a beam with this pipe and them back up to meet the existing main? If I did that (jump down) would I need a condensaste return at the low point? TIA0
