barometric damper

I have always held to the belief that you only need one barometric per chimney. We are scheduled to replace an oil boiler that has an oil fired water heater in the same chimney. They both now have barometrics. The customer insists that we install one with the new boiler. Whats your guys opinion? One or Two?

Ryan, Providing the appliance requires a barometric each appliance would normally have a barometric of its own. Hope this helps
