Fixing leak in hydronic storage tank

Any "Goop" you can pour in will only be a temporary fix at best, and may plug up other areas of you system , in my opinion. The only real fix is to pull it out and have someone repair/replace it before heating season arrives.
Good luck,

Fixing leak in hydronic storage tank
I have a 4'x4'x8' welded steel (1/4" plate) installed in a basement with no access to 2 sides. The leak is slow and almost for sure in the bottom plate or seam. There is almost no way to find or repair the leak.
Does anyone know about products to seal leaks, such as used in automotive cooling systems?
The tank is not pressurized.
Thanks in advance0 -
tank leaks
I have used Radiator Specialties Boiler Solder Seal with some success. I cannot say whether or not your need to pressurize the tank. I would put a few PSI in if that were possible. Follow the can instructions.0
