We only do comercial and industrial work but we tailor ours to the customers needs. You need to figure your costs for whatever type of agreement you wish to offer. Some we offer are a labor only ispection with any repairs T&M all the way to total coverage of all parts and labor.

Service contracts cost and coverage...?
I'm interested in offering written service agreements to my Boiler and Radiant customers. This is something I have already been doing essentially for free already, as I'm just not interested in installing a Vitodens or other Boiler and then not visiting it on a yearly basis to insure it is working properly.
I'm curious what other contractors do with this. What's a reasonable yearly cost for the agreement? What should I include beyond inspecting the heat exchanger, combustion, and taking as look at the Radiant hydrocontrol?
Would appreciate any and all input on this issue.
Thanks

A good book on the subject is "Service Agreement Dynamics" by Steve Howard. Business News Publishing. Hope this helps.0
