Low meaning under 7.0 Our treatment product buffers pH to about 8 to 8.5.
But there are other considerations such as corrosion and scale reducing the the heat exchange and thereby causing loss of efficiency and higher heating bills.
Our website, www.rhomarwater.com, has tech sheets on both our hydronic products and home steam system products.
Give me a call if I can be of further help.

Howdee, and thanks for the help given in the past.
can anybody walk me through getting the ph levels correct in my hydronic system. i installed it myself, and ran just water for 2 years until i stumbled across someone who told me to get some additives into the water. (im a furnituremaker, not a plumber) i know how do inject stuff into the system, i just need to know what to buy, and how do i test the water. just worried about the water eating the cast boiler or copper pipe.
thanks

I agree. Rhomar.
They have some links on their site showing various curves for pH relative to ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Each has different sweet spots if you will. You will be seeking the best balance between them.0
