    3 day breast cancer walk

    Is anyone in the Philadelphia area walking or willing to donate to a walker. Every year thousand of people and among them cancer survivor make the 3 day trek to help raise money to fight this disease.There is one couple in Media ,Pa that give their time and energy to raise thousands each year.And I am sure there are plenty of WALLIES ready to give a few dollars to cheer them on. If you are willing to help. If so let me know and I'll get the ball rolling here.

    Who else would be first in line

    Thanks Dan , as you know , my wife Janice was diagnosed with breast cancer several months ago (she is a real fighter and is doing great)But this disease hits 1 in 4 women,and it seems that , not if , but when it will target a loved one. The good news is it is 98% curable and the good doctor who have dedicated their lives to the cure , and as always , they only need money. This forum gives me the opportunity to ask .One days lunch money is all we ask. Maybe our childern won't need to worry that mommmy or Aunt Dee or they will be stricken.

    O.K. Guys

    As usual with the Pompetti Clan my idea started and ended with a small quarrel!

    But we have decided that team Pompetti will participate in this three day event ourselves. So what we are asking for is your guys support. I will promise to bring a camera and post the numerous fights that my father and I will have and maybe some pictures of Cousin Nick pulling my old-man off of my back.

    Any help will greatly be appreciated and hopefully will help find a cure for this disease that is everywhere.

    Where and how do we make the donations ? Always there for the cause . Unfortunately cancer has touched my family as well as you all know . My first wife died of the dreaded disease , my sister battled breast cancer , and my present wife has been stricken recently .

    a thousand bucks to go. I'll bet we can reach our goal this week if everyone gives just five bucks. More than 5,000 people are on the Wall every day, and I realize that not all of them can spare five bucks (imagine that), but I think enough can.

    I think science can cure this horrible disease that hits so close to home, and so unexpectedly.

    Please help Janice Pompetti, who is Big Jim's wife, and Jamie's mom. These are our friends. You all know them. Please help.

    What a wonderful bunch of Wallies

    I can't believe you guys. Team Pompetti has 4 walkers and hope to raise $10,000 for Breast Cancer research. Our Team leader Janice,who is in her 3 chemo treatment this week , is our inspiration. She is the back bone of the family and business. She has not missed one day at her post , even as we see first hand the pain she endures and wonders out loud how she will be able to volunteer to help others, after she recovers. THANK YOU all for your support and time and money. And to you Dan ,there are not words to express my thanks
