Gas pilot tube nut wrench?
Does anyone know where I can get a small wrench for the pilot tube nuts on the pilot tube from the gas valves on furnaces, water heaters, boilers?Sometines the nuts are really hard to get a normal open ended wrench or pliers on.Thanks,Ted0 -
I found ,
A thin walled "flarenut wrench" at Sears a couple years back. It has a 7/16ths side and a 3/8 for thermocouples. Chris0 -
Hey thats My
Gas valve wrench Chris. 3/8 X 7/16 open end at Sears. J.Lockard0 -
Jim,
This is a flare nut wrench, that is closed on 5 of the 6 sides.(open enough to fit over the connected tubing) Nice thing to have when you can find a thin walled version, but quite useless when some gorilla has been on any of the nuts with a channel lock or rounded it off with an adjustable wrench.
