runtal baseboard

Rough with pex. That three inches that you'll be using will never see enough sun to make a difference. Wrap about two inches of foam insulation around your risers. That way if they change anything on you ( and they will ) you've got a little play.
You should talk radiant more with the owner. Plants LOVE the warm floor to help propogate the roots.

runtal baseboard
in the process of designing runtal in a greenhouse, 1-1/2" concrete floor (sog) in greenhouse, with galvanized wire shelving for the plants. no room for tubing in slab. owner wants baseboard. we will use runtal, i am concerned with roughing in for the runtal. underslab, insulated, sweep up to runtal. how do you roughin? since the pex doesnt like the sun? do you use copper at runtal or what? thanks, marc0
