Heating oil supply?

    CNN and other news sources are claiming that the high demand for heating oil in the northern hemisphere, and dwindling distillate fuel reserves are driving crude prices up despite a lower than expected demand for gasoline. Where is all this "heating" oil going. One would think that demand would actually be lessening as more folks switch to natural gas. What gives?

    heating oil

    alot of power plants still heat with oil up there

    Industry in China & India is growing exponentially

    and increasing consumption of all resources. They do not have to follow our emission standards or labor standards yet we keep buying their stuff. Ever call customer service at your bank or credit card? Mine got outsourced to India.
